Each member of our team is a dedicated craftsman who brings experience, attention to detail and keen problem solving skills to each project. A truly collaborative effort from the start, we work together with you to make your vision a reality.

Adam Davidson

Owner :: Engineering, Estimates, Machining, Welding

Adam's love of making things goes back to Legos, Erector Sets and Lincoln logs. Fast forward to college at Texas State University and a degree in Manufacturing Engineering was the obvious choice. Adam was employed as a draftsman at a machine shop during college where his favorite class was foundry. His skills secured him a position with General Motors before graduation. The collapse of the automotive industry temporarily sent him searching for work and he soon became a metallurgist at Forge USA. Adam's metal working experience includes cutting metal, pouring metal, and forming metal. With the forming of Houston Metal Works, he now is able to add his own creativity to those skills and produce parts and projects in his own shop.

When Adam isn't at his shop he can be found attending Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church with his wife, Ellen, and two sons. As a family they enjoy traveling, skiing, hunting and fishing. When his inner speed demon calls, he loves to go to the race track for hot laps or to spectate racing events.

Jeff Roberts

Draftsman / Safety

Jeff's design and drafting experience spans hospitality, residential kitchens, energy, and structural applications. All of this combined gives him great insight into what we are making, and how we are going to make it.

Nightclub and Bar Designer for 5 years
High End Kitchen Drafter/Design for 10 years
Down stream 3-D Drafter for 2 years
Up stream 3-D Drafter for 2 years
Misc. metal and structural drafter for 6 years.

Chris Hinojosa

Shop Supervisor

Chris Hinojosa is the Shop Supervisor at Houston Metal Works, where he oversees daily fabrication operations and ensures each project is built to a high standard. He’s known for his problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and steady leadership on the shop floor. Whether it's managing a tight timeline or working through a tricky build, Chris helps keep the team focused and projects on track.
